Made in wax and then hand cast in pure brass or bronze, polished and oxidised: a modern day version of an antiquity.
Runes are ancient alphabets. The word rune comes from an Old Norse term meaning a secret letter that was used for casting spells. Writing itself was often seen as magic by other peoples who had no writing systems of their own.
The first runes were carved into wood, bone, or stone, hence why only straight lines are used as curved would be too labour intensive.
Each cuff comes with a rune explanation scroll.
